Jay & Cort’s Wedding

For all of our awesome clients out there, here is a chance to get to know us and see what our own wedding was like!  I’ve also tagged the vendors we used in Tucson in case you need some suggestions.

To start, we were married on March 28, 2009 at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon.  It was awesome.  The place is big enough to have that resort feel, but small enough to create an intimate atmosphere and feel like you have the whole place to yourself.  The views aren’t too bad either:)

We started with the ceremony outdoors looking out at the golf course and mountains.  Our theme here was mirrors, because I LOVE mirrors!  My absolute two favorite details of our whole wedding was the mirrored arch, which my mother-in-law built, and the candy table.
After the ceremony, we moved on to dinner in the main dining room.  Here, we did more mirror details and brown and ivory colors, to match the beautiful wood framing in the room.  This area also has one wall of all tall windows that overlooks the golf course.  We did lots of candles everywhere to make the place glow when it got dark.
After dinner, we moved back outside for dancing.  We decorated “lounge style” with bright colors and zebra print.
And yes, we did the cheesy choreographed wedding party dance!
Overall, it was a perfect day!
We rent the mirror blocks that ran down the aisle, the candy table jars and accessories, the tall candle holder centerpieces, other small mirror details and the rest of the decor for this wedding at www.reddiamondrentals.com
